An active Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society, Sean Malloy brings both technical expertise and leadership perspective from his career as a pricing actuary and manager. He has worked in admitted and non-admitted products, domestic and international contracts, and a broad range of P&C lines from commercial property to pet insurance. Sean has modeled, designed, and launched products for a Fortune 100 and managed an actuarial team for one of the world’s largest MGUs.

Sean has a Master’s degree in Statistics and decades of experience in multiple coding languages, machine learning methods, and predictive models. His experiences as an actuary, data scientist, and manager inspired him to launch Firsthand Insurance Recruitment to better serve both sides of the insurance talent search.
